A unique café experience where you are able to purchase local and imported cheeses from our specialised cheese room, buy locally made and sourced foods from our delicatessen or simply relax and appreciate the renowned West Coast hospitality while you enjoy something delicious from our menu. You can also watch a live working beehive which is behind glass and inside our café.
Most of our cheeses are made in the South Island of New Zealand, including soft cheeses, hard cheeses and of course the blues. The milk used to make them comes from cows, sheep, goats and buffalo and is pasteurised if the cheese is made in New Zealand.
Many locally made delicatessen items are used in our menu including loose leaf teas, freshly ground coffee, honey, cheese, yoghurt, cured meats, sauces, spices, preserves and specialty baking products.
