In summer the Beach House is a place to come back to at the end of a day exploring Hokitika and surrounding areas in time to catch a West Coast sunset with the waves crashing at your feet. In winter the Beach House is ideal for escape. Rugged up in front of the gas fire, hot chocolate, red wine, board game's book's and peace and quiet. Whatever the season or whatever your reason the Beach House caters to all - families, couples, friends.
Situated at 157 Revell Street you are a short walk from the Arts, the Food, the Heritage and the outdoor adventures of Hokitika.
The Beach House is a traditional Kiwi holiday home that has been carefully upgraded so that whilst it has every luxury and is very aesthetically pleasing you can feel relaxed and at home.
The beach house has the the following sleeping configurations and facilities:
Extra’s - $20 for each extra guest per night maximum 8
(2 queen beds, 1 set of bunks, 2 single mattresses in attic )
When you confirm your booking you will be asked to load your credit card with our on line booing service. You will pay a deposit of 25% to secure your booking and the remainder will be billed to this card on the date of checkin.
Please note that should any damage be found you will be billed for the repair of this. Please treat the houses as if they were your own.
Beds will be made with fresh linen. Bathroom and tea towels provided Gas BBQ available- How you leave the BBQ will be how the next guest finds it so please clean BBQ after use.
The water is heated by gas. If the gas fire is left on full for large periods of time you will drain the bottles leaving no hot water for your showers. Gas is delivered weekly from Greymouth so please respect this.
Please smoke outside and discard butts properly If you bring a pet please dispose of their toilet matter before you leave.
No tents, caravans, campervans please-extra guests Check in time is after 2.00pm, and check out time is 10 am day of departure unless by prior arrangement. We ask that all guests strip the linens they have used and do their dishes.
Check out is 10am - the cleaning staff are ready and waiting at 10am - time is money so please respect this. You can organise a late check out if necessary but if you leave the cleaners sitting on the side of the road waiting a late check out fee will be charged. 1 hour of rudeness is a rude fee of $60NZD
Please sort your recycling and rubbish in the bins at the rear of the house.
The keys will in a lock box at the property front entrance. You will be emailed a combination for the lock box and the key is inside. Please leave the key in this lock box to avoid losing it!
